Then, you each will be able to use it a certain time of the year. In this scenario, the ownership is shared and the percentage you paid is the percentage of ownership you will have.

A timeshare is a similar concept, but with key differences. First of all, you are not going in on the purchase with people you know. There is a resort or management company that brokers the deal and finds all the buyers.

Additionally, you are just paying for a percentage of the value of the property. You also have to pay maintenance fees to the people who maintain the property. Additionally, it took a lot of money for the advertisers to find a buyer so the price will be inflated for that as well.
